Tania Fer is a curator of contemporary art with a focus on the intersection of art history and visual culture with poetry, fashion and performance. She received her Bachelor’s in Literature from the University of Barcelona and her Master’s in Art Market Studies at the University of Zurich, and also spent a year at the University of Lisbon as the recipient of an Erasmus Fellowship. In addition to studying at the Institute of Theater in Barcelona in the Conservatory of Dance, she modeled professionally for a decade, featuring in campaigns and walking in shows by major fashion brands across Europe, North America, and Asia. Fer’s professional experience in the arts includes working for galleries, public collections, and cultural organizations in New York, Barcelona, and Lugano as she seeks to connect international audiences to the work of leading contemporary artists.
